Hannah Mason mezzo soprano
Nicholas Sales tenor

The Clothworkers Consort of Leeds

Skipton Building Society Camerata
Ben Crick conductor

A perennial favourite and the traditional start to Christmas, the Handel’s Messiah is as popular now as it was over two and a half centuries ago, from the heartfelt simplicity of ‘I know that my Redeemer liveth’ to the grandeur of the ‘Hallelujah’ chorus. Those who have attended a Camerata Messiah in previous years will attest to the quality and energy of their performances.

For Handel’s Messiah on 9th December Ben Crick and Camerata will be joined by four nationally established soloists and Leeds University's finest chamber choir the Clothworkers Consort of Leeds

6.15pm Pre-concert talk by Dr Bryan White
