Jonathan Gooing piano
Following the success of last season's events, Skipton Building Society Camerata and Hettie's Café Bistro are collaborating again on a new series of Café Culture, a series of chamber music events with dinner and a talk. You will receive a glass of prosecco on arrival to accompany an illustrated talk on the evening's music from Ben. Then enjoy being wined and dined before the evening concludes with the performance.
This season we will explore music of different nations and look at what makes music a force for straightening national identity or a means of subverting the ruling class's view of nation. For this final of our three events, violinist David Milsom, cellist Tom Collingwood and pianist Jonathan Gooing return to Hewttie's to perform a French masterpiece - the exquisite Piano Trio by Ravel.
