First performed on Good Friday in 1724, the dramatic and extraordinarily beautiful St John Passion, one of two surviving passions by JS Bach, is one of the great choral masterpieces of baroque music.
For this Good Friday performance tenor Richard Rowe leads a starry line up of soloists. Ben Crick and the Camerata are joined by Leeds' finest chamber choir, the Clothworkers Consort.
